The book is fast becoming a standard text for institutions of higher education in the United States and beyond. It is being used by such schools as Duke Divinity School, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Biola University, Concordia Lutheran College, Hope College, Lee University, Samford University, and Vanguard University, to name a few.
It is also being used for classroom instruction in Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, England, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, and Singapore.
